A group journal is a wonderful way to keep alive the memories of a
trip. The greatest rewards of travel come not only from seeing the physical
beauty of new places, but also from interacting with people of different
cultures, as well as with fellow group members. Many Sierra Club participants
say that their favorite part of the trip was the dynamics of traveling with
strangers who soon became fast friends. These journal entries come from
participants who live all over the U.S., are from all walks of life, and range
in age from 20 to 75.
